Are you saying, “Oh no! I’m pregnant!” Finding out you have an unplanned pregnancy can be overwhelming and takes time to adjust to. That’s why you have nine months!  laughing There are many pregnancy support agencies that can help you find the resources you need dring and after your pregnancy.

Hope for Single Moms knows there are many unknowns. And that’s really scary, isn’t it? But you don’t have to figure it out alone

If you are in college, that’s even scarier. You don’t know if you can parent AND go to school. We’re here to help you do both!

Do you know that Hope for Single Moms started as a result of our founding director’s journey with her own daughter! She became pregnant during her freshman year of college. After having her daughter and taking another year off college, she went back to school and graduated. You can you, too!

If you are pregnant and in college, check out our program. Then schedule a call to see how we can help you be a student parent.

Regardless of whether you are currently in college or not, there are support organizations and financial assistance to help you during this time.

Pregnancy Care Centers

Pregnancy care centers have many resources to help you through your pregnancy and get the baby items you need to be ready for the big day. They offer similar services, so pick one closest to where you live or work. Most have a social worker, who can direct you to area social services.

In addition to maternity clothes, diapers and formulas, they usually offer life skill classes and parenting classes. And it gives  you an opportunity to meet other women. Life is always more fun with friends. Listed below are the centers in the West Michigan area. Google for others near you.
